Hold onto your toques folks, we're about to see a change in the weather that will make a forecaster's head spin.

After going through the night with an extreme cold warning, which was lifted early Monday morning, we'll see a wind chill of -38 to start the day and then we're expecting to see +9 degrees by Thursday. Weather officials are tracking a large mass of warm air that will start to arrive Tuesday around noon and quickly take us to above freezing.

We still need to make it through today though and both the Holy Trinity Catholic School Division and Prairie South are reporting their buses are running as per normal.

Normal warnings apply, as they have a number of times this winter.  Be sure to cover up as exposed skin can freeze in a matter of minutes.  If you're heading out on the highways, be sure to have a full tank of fuel and a fully charged cell phone just in case of an emergency.
