The low pressure system that consisted of a light storm and strong wind gusts is on it's way out this weekend according to Meteorologists.

"What we're moving into is more spring-like temperatures, but that being said we're not looking at any big drop in temperatures," said John Paul Craigg, Warning Preparedness Meteorologist with Environment Canada. "So after this weekend and the cool down on Saturday and Sunday, temperatures rebound to spring-like temperatures...with temperatures that don't really fall all that far below zero in the overnight period."

He said we're now going to be moving into "an average pattern" meaning that we should expect daytime highs in between 1-12 degrees, with little precipitation.

"Mid way through or closer to the end of next week we could have major storms in the South West, but those aren't guaranteed and there's not a big signal that the models are showing that there's any big system moving into South Western Saskatchewan."

Craigg noted that April does have a tendency to see storms and that weather in our province can change abruptly with no warning.
