The City of Moose Jaw has begun work on 3 separate intersections to improve and upgrade traffic signals on our streets.

Crews will be working at the intersections of Main Street North and High Street, Main Street North and Manitoba Street, and 9th Avenue NW and Thatcher Drive West.

The work will include installation of underground wiring, conduits, and pull boxes, construction of bases to install signal poles, and the installation of RYGA, pedestrian signal heads, and pedestrian and vehicle detection devices.

The lights at Main Street North and High Street will be getting a significant upgrade, as workers will be modifying the intersection's signal phasing and timing in order to add an eastbound left turn arrow.

Traffic disruptions will be minor during this project, but the City still wants people to exercise caution in those areas.

Work at all three intersections is expected to be completed be February 18th of this year.
