There's another way to take a journey through some of Moose Jaw's history as Saskatchewan author Mary Harelkin  Bishop just unveiled her latest book ''Moose Jaw - A History in Words and Pictures'' over the weekend.

Bishop said quite a bit of her research took place in our city at our local library. "It was a lot of fun to go into the local archives at the Public Library to look at many of the photographs."

"What I really wanted to do with the book was to capture some of the stories that I didn't think people would remember or maybe had every really known about Moose Jaw."

Bishop is also the author of the "Tunnels of Time" book series and noted that she already has a plan for a sixth novel that will focus around a fire at the Temple Gardens Dance Hall in the 1920s.
