The Moose Jaw Girl Guides are looking for volunteer leaders.

Anyone who is interested in becoming a Girl Guide leader must be 18 years of age or older. There are also a few other requirements.

According to Krista Bakken, who is the Co-Commissioner of Girl Guides of Canada and Pathfinder leader, "You do have to get a police record check. We also have a process to become a leader. Once a person has registered online, someone from the registering office in Saskatoon will contact that person via the telephone. Through phone calls, interested participants will get the information they need."

Sleepovers, camping, and badge work are just some of the activities you'll be a part of if you become a volunteer Girl Guide leader. Bakken said, "It's an awesome program for girls. It's a great experience for them. they learn lots. And it's fun!"
