The Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery are putting together an exhibit to showcase how the pandemic affected the city and its residents.

The gallery is looking for image submissions that capture your experience with the pandemic, working from home, picking up new hobbies, and any other ways you passed the time during the quarantine.

The temporary Heritage Gallery Exhibit will also include submissions of personal stories and homemade face masks.

Director and curator of the museum, Jennifer McRorie, says the display will also include other relevant items to the pandemic.

"The hoarding of toilet paper, yeast, Lysol wipes, that sort of thing," says McRorie.

The exhibit is a 'Current Curation,' a way for the gallery to respond to culturally impactful situations that are happening, the pandemic is something that will be a major part of our history in Moose Jaw.

"We just found that this a way that could help us all connect, and something that we are all living through at the moment, so this might create a sense of comfort and community," says McRorie.

Any submissions used in the exhibit will receive a kit for one of the museum's upcoming Clay at Home activities.
