Following the success of the 2014 Canadian made comedy/horror movie "WolfCop", the sequel hit the big screen this week in theatres across the country.  The movie has a strong Moose Jaw, and Saskatchewan, flavor.

Produced by Moose Jaw's Hugh Patterson the plot revolves around a small town cop who transforms into a werewolf after being cursed. However, he still possesses his human intelligence in wolf form and continues his work as a police officer even in wolf form.

Lowell Dean is the writer and director of the WolfCop movies.

"We've been very fortunate.  We did the first one, it was very small and grassroots, and just a lot of love.  There was never a guarantee we'd get a sequel and luckily the producers decided they wanted to and we got to live the dream again".

Much of the shooting happened in Moose Jaw, which in the movie is portrayed as the fictional town of Woodhaven.  Dean said our city is the perfect backdrop. "Moose Jaw is so the look of Woodhaven, the fictional small town, so you will see Moose Jaw again."

Many of the scenes in Another WolfCop happen inside a hockey arena and the bulk of that shooting happened just east of Moose Jaw in Lumsden.
