Mosaic Place is looking forward to opening its doors back up to the public in the coming months, but although its doors have been closed to the public for over a year now, that doesn't mean that the inside has been empty.

The new ticketing system, SaskTix, has been implemented ahead of the fall season, and changes have been made to the food and beverage service within the facility.

Director of Marketing and Business Development at Mosiac Place for Spectra, Corey Nyhagen, says it's been very busy behind the scenes with a lot of different planning going on as they prepare to reopen to the public.

"We're really going back to look at what patrons, Warriors fans, and concert-goers have been wanting and vocal about, and working toward how we can answer some of those things and make the overall experience that much better for them."

He says two things they are looking at are possible bottle service in suites, and allowing people to order food and drinks directly from their seats.

A lot of residents are also curious when more concerts and shows will make their way back to the building. Nyhagen says they're working on it, but can't announce anything at the moment.

"You're starting to see venues announce shows that are coming, there are a lot of promotors that are booking shows, moving dates around, trying to figure out the best spots. I know the building has offers out there and looking at getting different acts in. We're just piecing together how this will all work."

Nyhagen says that with the building preparing to reopen its doors to the public, they're looking for staff to help in a number of different areas.

"Whether you've worked in the building before with food and beverage, event services, security, or if you're interested; please reach out to us and get your application in."

He says they're also planning on hosting a job fair for opportunities at Mosaic Place in the near future.
