After being on the run for three days, the prime suspect in a local murder investigation has been arrested.  19 year old Tyrel Munroe was taken into custody by Regina Police Thursday night without incident.  He was arrested in a Regina home and will be appearing in court Friday in the Queen City. He's expected to be remanded in custody and then transferred to Moose Jaw for court next week.

A Canada Wide Warrant was issued for Munroe a day after police started investigating a stabbing death on 3rd Avenue NE here in Moose Jaw that occurred Tuesday morning, taking the life of 21 year old Bailey Anderson.

Wednesday night, Kristen Desjarlais, a person of interest connected to the investigation, turned herself into police and was arrested on outstanding warrants.  Her connection to the death has not been released but we've learned from investigators that she is not expected to be charged, although the case is still active.
