It won't be a gentle transition from spring like conditions and we need to be ready for the sudden jolt of winter weather.

We have one last day of warm weather and then things are going to take a turn back to winter.  A new system is moving in as we speak and that could result in some shower activity Tuesday afternoon. If that happens, roads will be nice and slippery for the drive home as winds pick up and the temperature drops.

We'll see a wind chill of -25 Tuesday evening and -30 for Wednesday with no real chance of warming up for the rest of the week.  Forecasters say there could be some relief on the way for the weekend but no better than average conditions for this time of the year.
