There is a new display at the Cultural Center Art Gallery, and this exhibition comes from local artist Laura Hamilton.

Laura began a full time painting career four years ago after spending ten years as a teacher.

She says "most people know me as the artist who paints a lot of women and girls who are usually riding bikes; but lately I've got more into painting boys and men."

She is also known for he faceless characters which make her paintings quite unique compared with other artists.

Laura does all her painting from home and even has a gallery in her home for people to visit.

She says she starts out not even knowing what the painting will become but loves "watching the process happen".

Her new exhibition is on display at the Moose Jaw Cultural Center Art Gallery and will be up for a full month.
