City Council will reconvene on Monday with a number of topics on the agenda.

City council will be receiving an annual report from the Moose Jaw public library from Sarah Simison, chairperson of the Moose Jaw Public Library.

As well, quarterly reports from the city's departments will be presented to council.

Municipal and school board elections will be up for discussion with a tentative date for the election set for Nov. 9. Advanced polls would take place Oct. 29-31 and Nov. 2-5. Everything will be based on provincial health restrictions being lifted. If not, administration will come back to city council with a revised plan.

City administration will be seeking council's approval to make changes to funding programs through the Saskatchewan Lotteries grants. Over $60,000 have been approved for programs for the spring and summer of 2020, which have been cancelled. Any money not used between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021 must be returned. The administration would like to make changes as long as applicants meet the program guidelines.

The Summer Play program for 2020 has been cancelled, but the city will be looking at a modified program. It would be the Summer Play at Home program, based on the Education Home School program. Activities and supply kits would be available for pick up for kids ages five to 12. The program would be funded through already secured grant funding.

Council will look at using parking reserve fund interest to fund the Downtown Local Area Plan and, finally, council will decide on sub-dividing city-owned land along 24th Ave. W. for the purpose of industrial development.
