Premier Brad Wall is hitting the road this week, as he  kicked off a "Saskatchewan Ingredients Tour".

As Saskatchewan's exports have doubled in the last decade, the Premier has set off to visit production facilities around the province.

The popularity of Saskatchewan ingredients has increased around the world.

Saskatchewan-grown ingredients such as flax, oats, and mustard seed are being processed into products and exported to locations like Shanghai Disneyland, and Safeco Field, in Seattle.

Lentils and peas are seeing increased use in East Indian kitchens around the world, and 90% of India's lentil imports, and more that 60% of their peas, are grown by Saskatchewan farmers.

The premier's first stop was CanMar Grain Products and NutraSun Foods, one of Canada's premier flour millers, located in Regina.

Both companies create products processed with Saskatchewan-grown crops, that are then sold around the world.
