RCMP are asking for the public's help while searching for an escaped inmate.

31-year-old Jonathon Wade Benson failed to return to the Prince Albert Correctional Centre on Saturday after being granted temporary leave.

Benson is described as 6’1”, weighing 161 lbs with brown and eyes and black hair.

He also has a cross tattoo on his right arm and three cigarette burns on his left hand.

He is not considered a danger to the public, but if you spot Benson please contact the RCMP or your local police.
