More weather records came tumbling down across the province as a total of 26 new data points had to be entered into the weather system by Wednesday evening in Saskatchewan. Dozens of records have been set this week as this heat wave continues to melt away all the snow we received during the last cold snap.

Moose Jaw hit 10.2 degrees Wednesday, good enough to beat the 2002 record high of +9. More records will likely fall Thursday afternoon as forecasters are again expecting highs in the double digits.

A new weather system is expected to move in on the weekend that could see some moisture in the form of rain. Daytime highs will remain above normal for the next week, although some officials believe it could leave to storm activity to end the month.
