Regina Drive-Thru Clinic Temporarily Closed after Running Out of Doses

As of last night, Mar, 22, the drive-thru vaccination site in Regina has temporarily closed after exhausting its initial supply of 15,500 AstraZeneca vaccines.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority says the site will re-open when more doses become available. Phase 2 of the vaccine rollout still continues with the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Residents 67 and older can book their appointments online or by calling 1-833-SASKVAX.

On Monday, the province's vaccination total sat at 144,171. Of those, 112,901 are 1^st doses and 31,270 are 2^nd doses. Here in the South Central zone, 4,201 1^st doses have been administered along with only one 2^nd dose.
