It's a tradition that helps to support their efforts throughout the year and the local Salvation Army is looking for volunteers for their annual kettle campaign.

Major Dan Broome is putting out the call so they can start planning for the holidays with the first kettles starting to pop up November 26th at seven different locations.

"All we ask is that people stand by our kettle and says thank you to anyone who drops a donation into our kettle," explained Broome.

Anyone can volunteer to help with the campaign, just contact the Salvation Army office at 306-692-5899 to sign up.
