New numbers from the Saskatchewan Government are showing an increase in average weekly-earnings.
In December 2017, the average was up 2.7 percent year-over-year, the second highest percentage increase among the provinces, with Quebec placed first, with a 3.9 percent increase year-over-year.
In month-to-month increases, Saskatchewan was the highest with a 1.6 percent increase ($1,017.67 in November 2017).
Saskatchewan's average weekly earnings were $1,033.57 in December, the third highest in the nation and above the national average of $992.87.
The national increase for average weekly earnings was 2.3 percent.
