As we progressed through the week the daytime highs progressively increased, but the favorable conditions might not be sticking around for the Thanksgiving long weekend.

"Now as we go into the day on Saturday, the shower activity will break up a bit and continue to move east and southward through the rest of the province," said Drew Learner with World Weather Incorporated. "I do not expect to see widespread precipitation; however, there will be some pesky showers out there that will interrupt some farming activity."

Despite seeing a wet system move in, Learner believes that nothing major will be dropping on our area and we certainly won't be seeing winter conditions yet.

"Most of this precipitation is also expected to occur as rain, there should not be any accumulative snowfall across the region during this time period. A few snow showers will be possible perhaps on the very earliest morning hours on Sunday, but we don't expect any kind of significant accumulation to take place."

Trace amounts of rain could be seen throughout the weekend; click here for full weather details.
