Setup has already begun for Friday night's "One Horse Town" outdoor concert in downtown Moose Jaw.

In July, Moose Jaw won an online contest to host the event, featuring free performances from country stars Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi and Jess Moskaluke.

In preparation, City of Moose Jaw crews have blocked traffic on Main Street between High and Ominica Streets.

Further restrictions will begin Thursday morning, when Fairford Street from Langdon Crescent to the West alleyway behind Main Street will also be blocked. The barricades are expected to be lifted Sunday evening by 6:00 p.m.

In addition, bus service downtown will be affected by the changes.  According to a news release from the city, "transit buses will use Athabasca Street West and 1st Avenue Northwest (similar to the Sidewalk Days routing). Temporary bus stop signs will be placed on 1st Avenue Northwest between High Street West and Fairford Street West. Transit services will resume their normal routes on September 18, 2017."

The "One Horse Town" concert will be filmed by CMT for airing at a later date.
