A long list of charges has been filed against the man arrested for allegedly firing off a rifle in a Moose Jaw home.

25-year-old Joseph Edward Beutle was allegedly in possession of a firearm when police responded to a call on Athabasca Street East around 1:45 Tuesday afternoon.

Police were told a woman and child were also in the home.  Officers forced their way in and made an arrest.

Beutle is facing eight different charges.  Six are firearms related offences including possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of a firearm with the serial number removed.  He is also charged with uttering threats and pointing a firearm at another person.

Beutle made his first court appearance Wednesday.
