After a series of breaks over Christmas and New Years the city of Moose Jaw is really leaning in on the water main situation on 9th Avenue NW between Saskatchewan St. and Francis St.

The first rupture happened December 19th, and a series of failures occurred after that.  Rather then patching and replacing parts of the old cast iron pipes, the city will now be installing an entire section of new PVC pipe totalling about 50 feet in length.

Traffic restrictions will remain in place while the work continues.  The project is expected to be finished by this Friday.
