Vanier Collegiates Entrepreneurship 30 class has embarked on a new business venture, raising money for a non-profit organization in town.

Grade 12 student and member of Lonesome Road Co., Jewellyn McDonald, explains what it is they are selling, and who they're raising money for.

"We started up a company called Lonesome Road Co. and it sells limited edition clothing that we are selling over the next week doing pre-orders. We're a non-profit organization and all of our proceeds go to the Moose Jaw Food Bank. We've received donations through the McGrath family and have partnerships with Boston Pizza on Main and Thatcher and through The Shop."

"We wanted to keep it 'Saskatchewan-esque' and Lonesome Road really made it that way. We wanted to keep it local and give back to the Moose Jaw Food Bank. We know during these tough times they need more support now than they ever have, so we wanted all of our proceeds to go to them to help them out in any way that we can."

Lonesome Road Co will only be selling to Vanier Collegiate students or family of students, but they sell a variety of bunnyhugs, crewnecks, and t-shirts.
