The National Film Board of Canada has released the first installments of a series of short documentaries on Canadian perspectives and stories during the COVID pandemic.

The first in this series, which is called The Curve: Lockdown Stories Unlocked, features Kristin Catherwood. She is a filmmaker who returned to her family farm between Ceylon and Radville at the beginning of the pandemic. Catherwood captured in the documentary her personal conversations with her father - how they were each coping during the early days and restrictions of the pandemic, plans for the crops and gardens, and reminiscing of family that had passed including stories of her mother.

The film, “In the Garden on the Farm", was filmed over the span of three days in May.
