Brace yourselves Moose Jaw: Just when it was feeling like spring had set it's foot down, 'Old Man Winter' is rebelling.

Environment Canada has released another winter storm watch for our community and most of the southern half of the province. And this one looks to be a doozy.

"The winds are really going to pick up overnight (Thursday) and then by the morning we're going to see snow start to develop. Along with that, because of the strong southeasterly winds, we're going to see a lot of blowing snow," revealed Environment Canada's Regional Meteorologist, Terri Laing.

"Snow, blowing snow, looks like amounting to the 10 to 15 centimeter range. Temperatures right around zero, which really makes for some sloppy, icy conditions to drive in on Friday. If people are planning on travel, they might want to reschedule based on this storm."

The system is expected to make it's way through rather quickly, with Meteorologists predicting for the system to be out of Moose Jaw by Friday late afternoon.  However, the edge of the storm will be passing over us as its making it's way through the province to Manitoba.

"If you do have to head out, make sure you check the Highway Hotline before heading out, because often if it's okay where you are, it may not be okay where you're heading. Always be prepared. Winter's not over yet, we still have lots ahead of us."
