Moose Jaw Police responded to 41 calls for service.

8:18 am – MVA – A single vehicle rollover caused approximately $30,000 of damage.  The driver was issued 3 tickets.

8:24 am – Mischief – Sometime overnight a vehicle window was smashed out, causing approximately $300 of damage.

9:49 am – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered and change was taken.  This was reported for informational purposes.

11:10 am – Theft – Overnight unknown person(s) broke into a compound and stole batteries. Video footage was obtained.  This is still under investigation for charges.

11:36 am – Theft – an unknown person stole an energy drink.  This is still under investigation for police to obtain video.

11:39 am  – Theft from Vehicle – This occurred in November. A cheque book and change were taken.  Police continue to investigate.

11:57 am – Fraud – Police continue to investigate.

12:28 pm – MVA – A vehicle swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle. This resulted in one minor injury and a vehicle being towed.

12:32 pm – Towed Vehicle – A vehicle was towed for being parked on the street unregistered.

12:42 pm – Theft from Vehicle/Fraud – A vehicle was entered and a wallet was taken.  A debit card was used at several locations.  Police continue to investigate.

1:31 pm – Hit & Run – This occurred in November and resulted in approximately $1500 of damage. This is still under investigation for police to obtain video.

1:44 pm – Assault/Uttering Threats – The subject was charged for uttering death threats and assault.  They were released on conditions by a Justice of the Peace for court at a later date.

1:51 pm – Fraud – Police continue to investigate.

2:36 pm – Threats – A statement was obtained.  Police continue to investigate.

5:28 pm – Threats – A statement was obtained. The subject was charged for threatening and was released by a Justice of the Peace on conditions and for court at a later date.

5:30 pm – Barking Dog – A dog was barking non-stop.  Police are to speak with the owner.

5:44 pm – Dispute – This was mediated.  Both parties agreed to settle the situation as a civil matter.

6:24 pm – Theft from Vehicle – A vehicle was entered while parked in a parking lot, with change being taken.  This is under investigation for police to obtain video footage.

7:21 pm – Lost Property – Property given to family member for safe keeping is now missing.  Police are to speak with family.

11:49 pm – Erratic Driving – The plate number and vehicle description were obtained from a vehicle swerving all over the road.  The vehicle was not located, and this is still under investigation for police to contact the registered owner and warn them regarding the driving actions.

12:09 am – Loud Party – A tenant in an apartment complex was having a loud party.  Police attended and warned the tenant under the noise bylaw.

2:07 am – Intoxicated Person – A subject was located very intoxicated.  They were held in cells until sober.

2:27 am – Impaired Driving – A Highway Transport Officer conducted a vehicle stop which resulted in the driver being issued an ASD demand.  The driver was brought to the Police Station, where further samples resulted in charges of impaired driving and exceeding .08. The vehicle was seized for 30 days.  The subject was released for court at a later date.

Police responded to two alarm calls.
Police executed two warrants.
Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
