Moose Jaw Police responded to 57 calls for service.

8:33 am – MVA Over – A two vehicle accident occurred. One vehicle required towing, and the damage was estimated at $10,000.

9:14 am – Theft Under – Sometime overnight a vehicle was entered. The centre console and glove box were rummaged through. $4 in change and some miscellaneous items were taken, and this was reported for information purposes.

9:28 am – MVA with Injuries – A single vehicle collision was caused by road conditions. The brakes locked up and the vehicle collided with a tree and a sign. The damage was estimated at $5,000 and the vehicle was towed.

11:08 am – Police assisted a semi navigate through the city with an oversized load.

11:59 am – A stolen auto was recovered.

4:15 pm – Well Being Check – A caller from another province requested a well-being check on a family member. The subject was located and taken to the hospital by EMS, with follow up treatment set in place.

4:26 pm – Fraud – Police continue to investigate a bank fraud.

5:39 pm –Trespass – A subject was upon premises they were previously banned from and refused to leave. The subject left upon police request and is to be sent another ban letter.

7:31 pm – Assault – A subject was assaulted by an unknown person and was later transported to the hospital for assessment. Police continue to investigate.

7:45 pm – Assault – A subject was assaulted. The parties involved were warned under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

8:03 pm – Someone removed a snowmobile from a complainant’s back yard. There are possible suspects; police continue to investigate.

8:39 pm – Well Being Check – The subject was located and taken to a friend’s house for the night.

9:02 pm – Intoxicated Person – A subject who kept falling and couldn’t get up was located by a passerby. The caller stayed with the subject until police arrived and was brought to cells and held until sober.

9:26 pm – Unwanted Guest – The subject was acting in an undesirable manner and the complainant wanted them out. The subject was taken to a hotel for the night.

9:25 pm – Dispute – A dispute between two parties was mediated by police.

11:48 pm – MVA – A semi hit the gas pumps at a business. The damage was estimated at $50,000, and paperwork was filled out and submitted.

4:34 am – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of someone being noisy in an apartment building. The tenant was spoken to and warned.

5:01 am – ASD Demand – The result was a fail, and police are conducting an impaired care and control investigation.

5:08 am - Theft of Auto – There was a report of a vehicle being stolen at about 3 am. Stolen was a silver 2000 Honda Civic bearing Sask plate 385FJW. Left in its place was a stolen auto out of Regina. The vehicle was seized for processing. Police continue to investigate.
