Moose Jaw Police responded to 42 calls for service.

7:59 am – A subject was charged with breaking & entering and mischief after being located stuck in a donation bin. The subject also had outstanding warrants and was remanded for court Thursday morning.

8:05 am – Insecurity – There was a report of a residence with the door wide open. The homeowner was present upon police arrival and advised that the door had not been secured properly by a tradesperson. This was not a break and enter.

10:23 am – MVC – A two vehicle motor vehicle collision resulted in $5,000 of damage. One person had minor injuries, and no vehicles were towed.

12:49 pm – Mischief – Some time overnight someone threw a frozen water bottle through a bedroom window. The damage was estimated at $7,000 and this was reported for information purposes.

1:26 pm – A subject was charged with possession of stolen property and breach recognizance after attempting to pawn stolen property.

2:52 pm – Theft – There was a report of a theft of a purse from a vehicle in a parking lot. The incident is still under investigation.

3:13 pm – Threats – There were report of threats from a person in another city. Police continue to investigate.

3:41 pm – Threats – A subject was receiving threats. Police continue to investigate to speak to other parties involved.

4:37 pm – Fraud – The complainant is out $4,300. Police continue to investigate.

5:54 pm – Assault – There was a report of a person being pushed by another person. A statement was taken, and this is still under investigation for possibly charges.

6:21 pm – MVA – This was a non- reportable accident, and police assisted with name exchange.

8:07 pm – Assist to Locate – Police received a request for an assist to locate for a 12 year old who hadn’t returned home after a basketball game. While police were checking several residences, the complainant called back advising the 12 year old had just walked in the door.

8:39 pm – Dispute – A dispute between several parties was mediated.

1:39 am – Possession of Stolen Property – There was a report of suspicious people walking in the area. Police attended and located the subjects involved, along with a stolen auto out of another jurisdiction. The vehicle was seized and towed to a compound for further investigation. Both subjects were arrested and held in cells. One will be attending court in the morning. One person will be released in front of a Justice of the Peace with several conditions.

1:52 am – Unwanted Guests – Two subjects were refusing to leave the premises when asked. Police attended, called a taxi, and the subjects left upon police request.

3:24 am – Police received a request to check on the status of a subject on electronic monitoring. The subject was at home asleep. There were problems with the device, and the agency was advised.

5:10 am – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was left running with the keys in it and the doors unlocked. Taken was a burgundy 1998 GMC Sierra 4 X 4 bearing Saskatchewan plate 642KTA. A stolen auto form was signed and the vehicle was added to CPIC.

Police executed seven warrants.
Police assisted other agencies in five cases.
Police responded to five 911 calls.
PACT responded on one occasion.
