Moose Jaw Police responded to 38 calls for service.

8:43 am – 900 Block Manitoba St E – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant called to state that they believed someone was scouting the area. Footprints and vehicle tire prints were visible in the snow. Extra patrol was asked for in the area.

9:19 am – 300 Block Home St W – Impaired Driver – A complainant called in stating that someone had left the area and was driving impaired. Police intercepted the vehicle, and the driver was issued a 72- hour licence suspension and vehicle impoundment.

9:45 am– 600 Block Home St W – Break & Enter – A business was entered and equipment was taken. Police are investigating.

11:28 am – 1300 Block Queen Cres – Theft Under – A vehicle was entered sometime between the day prior and the time of the call. A wallet was taken and purchases had been made on the cards. Police are investigating.

11:31 am – 1600 Block Glendale St – Theft Under – A vehicle was entered sometime through the night. Change was taken and doors were left open. There was no damage, but the incident was reported for informational purposes.

12:30 pm – 1000 Block 5th Av NE – Break & Enter – A garage was damaged and a van window was broken, but it is unknown if anything was stolen. This happened sometime overnight. There was approximately $400 of damage.

1:15 pm – 1400 Block Glendale St – Theft Under – Sometime overnight two vehicles were entered. The individuals are unsure if anything was taken except change. Pictures were obtained of footprints around the vehicles.

2:37 pm – North Service Rd – Suspicious Vehicle – A vehicle has been parked for approximately a week in a lot. Police spoke to the registered owner who had the vehicle moved.

4:19 pm – Highway 1 at Main St N – Impaired Driving – A vehicle stopped on the side of the highway, and a complainant was concerned due to actions that the driver was impaired. Police attended and arrested the subject due to being under the influence.

6:39 pm – 1200 Block Main St N – Suspicious Person – A person was in the lobby of a business and was suspected of stealing tokens. The individual left prior to police arrival. Police obtained video and a description of the person.

8:14 pm – 0 Block Manitoba St E – Unwanted Guest – Police were requested to attend to a business to assist with an unwanted guest. The person left upon police request without incident.

8:23 pm – 1500 Block Main St N – Multi Vehicle Accident – There was a two vehicle accident, and one vehicle was towed. No injuries were reported, but there was approximately $10,000 of damage.

10:46 pm – 100 Block Home St W – 911 – Two people who appeared to be intoxicated were walking down the middle of a street with a dog. The complainant was concerned for all parties’ well being. Police attended and spoke with the subjects and warned them of public intoxication. They were trying to help the dog find its owner.

11:14 pm – 300 Block Diefenbaker Dr – 911 – Two suspicious persons were walking through a parking lot and carrying garbage bags, which appeared to be sketchy. Police attended to the area and did not locate the subjects described.

11:17 pm – 800 Block Chester Rd – Noise Bylaw – A complainant stated that a bunch of people appeared to be having a party and were being very noisy, and that they would like it all shut down. Police attended and everything was quiet on arrival.

12:47 am – 1200 Block 11th Av SW – 911 – A complainant stated that they were being beat up. Police attended and two persons were having a dispute; police aided in mediating situation.

Police attended to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
Police executed one warrant.
Police responded to one alarm call.
