Moose Jaw Police responded to 54 calls for service. 

6:42 am – 200 block 1st Ave NW – A male was sleeping near a building.  “The male was sent on his way.

7:18 am – 100 block Athabasca St E – There was an attempted break and enter to a building.  No entry was gained.  A window was broken out.

8:44 am – 0 block Athabasca St W – Threats. A male was arrested and charged.  He was released on no contact conditions.

11:28 am – 200 block 1st Ave NW – A vehicle stop was conducted.  The driver was found to be driving while suspended.  The vehicle was seized.

11:52 am – 100 block 1st Ave NE – Mischief to Vehicle – Approximately $1,000 of damage was done.

12:10 am – 100 block North Service Rd – Theft From Compound – This is still under investigation.

1:00 am – 5th Ave NW at High St W – Erratic Driving – The driver of a vehicle was warned regarding his driving actions.

1:32 pm – 1st Ave NW at Fairford St W – Hit and Run – A two vehicle accident occurred.  Approximately $1,000 of damage was done.  One person was charged with changing lanes before safe and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

2:50 pm – 1700 block Hastings St – Hit and Run – Approximately $1,900 of damage was done. 

4:05 pm – 0 block Caribou St W – Two Vehicle Accident – There were no injuries.  Approximately $10,000 of damage was done.  One ticket was issued for leaving a private driveway before safe.

5:22 pm – 1200 block 9th Ave NW – Fraud – A credit card was used.  Police are still investigating.

6:29 pm – 0 block Dogwood Rd – A dog was allowed to run at large.  The owner was warned under the bylaw.

7:50 pm – 800 block MacDonald St – Assist to Locate Youth – Police are still investigating.

8:51 pm – 1400 block 9th Ave NE – Noise Bylaw – There was a pounding stereo all day according to the complainant.  The homeowner was warned regarding the noise bylaw and advised to quiet down.

9:10 pm – 1200 block Stadacona St W – Dispute – Police attended and mediated a family dispute.

9:52 pm – 1500 block Caribou St W – Erratic Driving – Police are still investigating to speak with the registered owner.

11:41 pm – 200 block High St E – Theft of Property – Property was stolen from a shed.  Police are still investigating.

3:37 am – 800 block Valleyview Dr – There was a theft from a motor vehicle.

3:52 am – 1500 block Main St N – Unwanted Guests – The subjects left upon police arrival.

Police responded to five 911 calls.
Police responded to three parking bylaw infractions.
Police assisted other agencies in three cases.
