Moose Jaw Police responded to 62 calls for service.
 
7:09 am – 1300 Block Warner St– Theft – Sometime overnight two blue Pelican kayaks taken from yard.  Police continue to investigate.
 
8:52 am – 500 Block Thatcher Dr E – Hit & Run – Occurred 2017 May 20, damage to drivers side front bumper, approximately $5000 worth of damage.
 
9:06 am – 100 Block Ross St E – Erratic Driving – Vehicle being driven aggressively, ongoing issue.  Driver information provided, still under investigation to speak with driver.
 
9:10 am – 100 Block Ross St E – Threats – Police continue to investigate.
 
9:28 am – 0 Block Diefenbaker Dr – Provincial Traffic Offences – Plate number provided for a vehicle reported to have failed to stop at a stop sign all weekend when leaving the hospital.  Registered owner spoken to.
 
11:50 am – 1200 Block Main St N – Hit & Run – Occurred 2017 May 21, damage to passenger side of vehicle and mirror.  Damage estimated at $15,000.
 
12:10 pm – Moose Jaw – Found Property – Licence plate from trailer previously reported stolen located, turned in to Police.  Trailer still missing.
 
12:23 pm – 9th Av NW at High St W – Traffic Obstruction – Glass spill.  Police assisted with traffic control.
 
12:31 pm – 800 Block Duffield St – Breach of Court Orders – Statement to be obtained.  Police continue to investigate.
 
12:39 pm – 700 Block Ominica St W – Dangerous Dog – Dog running at large chasing people.  Charges pending for owner.
 
1:37 pm – 1200 Block Irving Av – Mischief – Tarps put up between two residences cut.  Statement obtained, charges pending.
 
2:14 pm – 200 Block High St W – Break & Enter – Occurred in the early morning hours, entry gained via back door.  Alcohol and money missing.  Police continue to investigate.  Suspects to be spoken to.
 
2:15 pm – 1200 Block 13th Av NW – Theft – Sometime in last month licence plate stolen off vehicle.  Plate to be added to Canada wide database as stolen.
 
2:30 pm – 800 Block Main St N – Dispute – Verbal dispute between mother and daughter.  Mother left, dispute mediated.
 
3:38 pm – 300 Block Ross St W – Harassing Communication – Police continue to investigate.
 
4:09 pm – 200 Block Athabasca St W – Dispute – Child acting out after parents advised of drug use.  Child left residence prior to Police arrival.  Parents provided options.
 
5:38 pm – 0 Block Edelweiss Cr – Mischief  - Sometime over weekend padlock cut off trailer while parked on the street.  Bolt cutters left behind.  Nothing missing from inside trailer.  Reported for informational purposes.
 
5:41 pm – 1200 Block Iroquois Dr – Dispute/Theft – Dispute between mom and son with son leaving residence.  Son took mothers phone that he did not have permission to take.  Statement to be obtained for theft charges.  Police continue to investigate.
 
6:26 pm – 800 Block Wolfe Av – Found Property – Wallet, cheque and keys belonging to former tenant found after eviction.  Police to contact owner and have them retrieve property at Police Station.
 
6:38 pm – 1300 Block 11th Av NW – Assault – Statement obtained.  Still under investigation for charges.
 
7:29 pm – 100 Block Coteau St W – Unwanted Guest – Complainant wanted roommate removed from residence however both parties names on lease agreement.  Situation was mediated by Police.
 
8:22 pm – 100 Block Home St W – Intoxicated Person – Intoxicated person staggering around, yelling and swearing at people, description provided.  Police attended area and located subject who was transported to Police cells and held until sober.
 
8:41 pm – 9th Av NW at Caribou St W – Mischief – Silicone thrown at vehicle while stopped at red light.  Subjects responsible identified and parents spoken to.  Still under investigation to see if any damage to vehicle.
 
9:43 pm – 800 Block MacDonald St – Assault –Verbal argument that turned physical between two youth known to each other.  Both parties spoken to.  Police continue to investigate.
 
9:49 pm – 900 Block Fairford St E – Municipal Bylaw – Fire in an open flame fire pit close to a residence.  Occupants of residence spoken to and warned, fire put out.
 
10:07 pm – 1300 Block 13th Av SW – Assist to Locate – Youth left residence earlier in evening and failed to return for house ordered curfew.  Youth added to Canada wide database as missing.
 
10:38 pm – 1100 Block 7th Av SW – Erratic Driving – Descriptions of two vehicles provided that were reported to be doing donuts in area.  Vehicles gone prior to Police arrival.
 
11:45 pm – 1300 Block 13th Av SW – Assist to Locate – Youth left residence after house ordered curfew.  Youth located and taken home.
 
2:16 am – 400 Block Caribou St W – Break & Enter – Unfounded.  Police located two subjects going through garbage bins.  Both subjects sent on their way.
 
6:05 am – 400 Block Wood Lily Dr – Fire Call – Planter on fire outside of a residence.  Homeowner contacted via phone who advised they put out a cigarette in planter before leaving for work.  Cigarette believed to be cause of minor fire.  Approximately $100 worth of damage.
