Moose Jaw Police responded to 35 calls for service. 

8:13 am – 900 block Albert St – Mischief – A caller reported seeing subjects trying to enter multiple vehicles. No entry was gained and police are still investigating to view video of the incident.

9:16 am – 500 block Athabasca St W – Theft – A subject stole a considerable amount of money from the complainant as well as their laptop computer. The caller was able to retrieve their computer as well as a small portion of the money stolen but needs help from police to retrieve the rest. Police intend to follow up.

10:28 am – 1200 block Gordon Rd - Theft – Numerous vehicles were rummaged through and items were stolen. We would like to remind the residents of Moose Jaw to please lock their vehicle doors.

11:42 am – 1200 block Main St N – Vehicle Collision – One vehicle collided with a concrete post. No injuries were reported, and there was approximately $3 500 worth of damage.

12:45 pm – 0 block Wood Lily Dr – Dispute – Two adult subjects were arguing loudly in their residence. Police mediated the dispute.

12:49 pm – 100 block Athabasca St E – Suspicious Vehicle – A complainant called in regards to a person sleeping inside a vehicle with the windows open. Upon police questioning, the subject revealed that he pulled over to have a snack and a nap. He then left the area.

7:24 pm – 0 block Arrowhead Rd – Fire Call – A structure fire was reported. The fire was later found to have started by accident when a tenant was cooking with grease on the stove. There was approximately $50 000 worth of damage.

8:25 pm – 400 block Moose Sq – Theft – A subject was found in possession of property belonging to someone else. The subject was charged with possession of stolen property.

11:35 pm – 500 block Maple St W – Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act (AGRA) – An adult subject was charged with having open liquor in a vehicle.

Police responded to one city after hours call.
Police responded to five 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
