Moose Jaw Police responded to 58 calls for service.

7:47 am – 500 Block 6th Av NW– Break & Enter – Three youth attempting to gain entry to residence, scared off by homeowner.  Description of youth and direction of travel provided.  Youth located and charged with Break & Enter with Intent to Commit Theft.  Released to their parents on conditions and to attend Court at a later date.

8:27 am – 1000 Block Elgin Av – Found Bicycle – Bicycle located and exhibited at Police Station.

8:39 am – 1000 Block Grafton Av – Theft/Fraud – Sometime overnight vehicle entered and green purse containing  US currency and owners debit and credit cards taken.  Credit card used at two locations.  Youth in custody for Break & Enter questioned and confessed.  Youth charged accordingly.

9:47 am – 0 Block Thatcher Dr E – Hit & Run – Occurred July 7, approximately $1000 worth of damage to front bumper.

10:07 am – 1400 Block Smith St – Barking Dog – Dog constantly barking.  Owner warned of the bylaw.

10:21 am – 600 Block Athabasca St W – Dangerous Dog – Dog in backyard of residence on too long of rope, able to go through hedges to get into neighbor’s yard, lunged at complainant as exiting vehicle.  Owners of dog spoken to, warned of bylaw.

11:33 am – 1500 Block Grace St – Lost Property – Wallet has gone missing, unsure if lost or stolen from vehicle.  Reported for informational purposes should it be turned into Police or Police locate it.

12:10 pm – 0 Block High St E – Insecurity – Door left unlocked at Bus Station, when patrons opened it alarm went off.  Unable to contact keyholder or employee, door locked by Police.

12:46 pm – 800 Block Main St N – Break & Enter – Complainant believed apartment entered, believed saw two shadows leaving.  Police attended to apartment, no sign of forced entry, shadows appear every time someone enters building.  Unfounded.

1:14 pm – 900 Block James St – Break & Enter/Theft – Sometime since Friday bike, scooter and skateboard taken from shed in backyard of residence.  Still under investigation.

1:46 pm – 1000 Block 1st Av NW – Harrassing Calls – Complainant being slandered on social media, has suspects.  Police continue to investigate.

2:25 pm – 0 Block River St E – Break & Enter – Unfounded. Ex-common-law still has keys for residence.  Options and advise provided.

2:39 pm – 1500 Block Main St N – Disturbance – Subject responsible asked to leave by Police and did so.

3:53 pm – 1000 Block Caribou St W – Theft – Subject going through recycling bins in alley, entered onto complainants property to go through theirs, confronted and left.  No theft occurred.  Unable to identify subject via picture provided by complainant.

3:46 pm – 0 Block Thatcher Dr E – Hit & Run – Occurred July 08, approximately $1200 worth of damage.

4:30 pm – 1000 Block Bogue Av – Theft – Theft from vehicle, clothing, stickers, Roughrider game tickets, gift certificates for Rider store and key fob for another vehicle taken.  Rider tickets and gift certificates cancelled.

4:32 pm – 800 Block Main St N – Hit & Run – Vehicle collided with building causing approximately $3500 worth of damage and fled scene without exchanging information.  Police continue to investigate.

4:40 pm – 800 Block Ominica St W – Possession Stolen Property – Youth in custody for Break & Enter found to be in possession of two stolen credit cards.  Youth charged accordingly.

5:18 pm – 1300 Block Gordon Rd – Assist to Locate – 9 year old daughter left residence at 3:30 pm to go to park, when parents went to check could not locate her.  Police attended and child located at park.

5:25 pm – 1100 Block 9th Av NW – Mischief – Ongoing dispute over flowers/weeds, now bushes.  Both parties involved charged with Mischief, released for Court at a later date.

5:42 pm – 0 Block Main St N – Unwanted Guest – Subject refusing to leave premises, harassing staff.  Upon Police request subject left.

6:23 pm – 1200 Block Wolfe Av – Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Vehicle previously reported stolen to Police recovered.  Towed to secure bay to be processed by Ident.  Police continue to investigate.

7:47 pm – 1000 Block Grace St – Threats – Complainant being threatened via text message.  Warrant issued for subject responsible.

8:01 pm – 300 Block Oak St – Well Being Check – Subject not answering door or phone, not seen since Thursday.  Subject located at residence, transported to hospital and left in their care for treatment to wound sustained earlier in week.

9:21 pm – 1100 Block 2nd Av NE – Mischief/Breach Court Orders – Subject smashed windshield on vehicle, said to be in possession of a knife.  Description of subject provided however not located by Police.  Subject known to victim.  Charges pending.

9:54 pm – 400 Block Athabasca St W – Threats – Ongoing issue.  Still under investigation for possible restraining order.

10:14 pm – 1100 Block 4th Av NE – Breach Court Order – Subject not home for Court ordered curfew.  Subject to be charged.

12:39 am – 0 Block Calypso Dr – Well Being Check – Subject sending concerning text messages, Police attended residence and spoke with subject.  Subject was transported to hospital and left in their care.

5:10 am – Skating Oval – Fire Call – Complainant attended Police Station to report an open fire in the fire pit at the skating oval with no one around.  Police attended and only smoldering logs remained.  Water poured on logs.
