Moose Jaw Police responded to 42 calls for service.


8:44 am – 9th Av NW at Highway 1– Dangerous Driving – Plate number obtained for vehicle being driven approximately 140 km by a female driver texting on cell phone.  Vehicle not located by Police.  Registered owner contacted via phone who advised daughter had vehicle.  Parents to take away driving privileges.

10:39 am – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Dispute – Property exchange.  Police stood by to keep the peace.

10:55 am – 1500 Block 4th Av NW – Break & Enter – Sometime between Friday at 11 am to Saturday at 8:30 am trailer entered and tools taken.  Still under investigation to obtain list of items.

 11:56 am – 100 Block Oxford St W – Hit & Run – Vehicle hit while parked causing damage to front drivers side bumper.

1:33 pm – 1000 Block Iroquois St W – Mischief – Sometime overnight  unlocked vehicle entered.  Nothing taken and no damage to vehicle. 

1:58 pm – 400 Block Langdon Cr – Drugs Possess – Complainant received information a group of people in building were dealing drugs.  Police attended and spoke with suspected group, all whom denied any wrong doing.  No drugs located.  Subjects asked to leave.

2:38 pm – 1st Av SE at River Park Dr – Intoxicated Person – Subject staggering while walking, pants pulled down.  Subject located and detained for being drunk in public.  Held in Police cells until sober.  Released with two Summary Offence Tickets for open alcohol in public place and drunk in public.

3:03 pm – 300 Block Main St N – Assist Elderly – Elderly subject having troubles getting around.  Driven home by Police.

3:18 pm – 100 Block Fairford St W – Harrassing Calls – Unwanted communication from various people.  Police are still investigating. 

 3:22 pm – 0 Block Hodges Cr – Mischief – Sometime Sunday night back window of vehicle shot at with BB Gun causing approximately $1000 worth of damage.

 4:13 pm – 0 Block Daisy Cr – Barking Dog – Dog barking continuously, being antagonized by owner.  Owners spoken to and warned.

4:21 pm – 1600 Block Main St N – Theft Under – Dine and dash occurred a few days ago.  Still under investigation for video.

 4:52 pm – 1500 Block 2nd Av NW – Mischief – Graffiti on City property. 

 5:13 pm – 100 Block 2nd Av NE – Dog Bylaw – Plate number and vehicle description obtained for vehicle with dog left inside.  Police attended, dog not in distress.  Owner of vehicle and dog contacted, owner took dog with them.

 5:30 pm – 0 Block Main St N – Disturbance – Group of people arguing, one party assaulted another.  Upon Police arrival group dispersed.

 6:57 pm – 1200 Block Main St N – Impaired Driving – Plate number and vehicle description obtained from vehicle with intoxicated driver.  Police attended and detained subject for impaired driving. Charges of impaired driving and exceed .08.  Vehicle seized for 60 days. Subject released to parents.

 9:20 pm – 10th Av NW at Hall St W – MVA – Two vehicle collision resulting in two tows, one minor injury, and one charge for disobeying a stop sign.

11:21 pm – 1200 Block 9th Av NE – Erratic Driving – Plate number and vehicle description obtained for vehicle being driven at high rate of speed.  Vehicle not located, however registered owner contacted via phone and advised daughter in possession of vehicle.  Warning regarding driving actions to be forwarded to daughter.

1:53 am – 900 Block Lillooet St W – Theft Under – Sometime after 5:30 pm, purse taken from backyard of residence.  Purse contained wallet, ID, bank cards, vehicle keys and medication.

 2:14 am – 1400 Block 9th Av NE – Mischief – Vehicle entered by subject who fled when noticed by complainant.  Appears to be nothing missing from vehicle.  Area checked, subject not located.

 5:39 am – 100 Block Lillooet St W – Theft Under – Sometime overnight welding cables taken from vehicle.
