Moose Jaw Police responded to 39 calls for service.

7:35 am – Fire Call – The Moose Jaw Police Service assisted the fire department at a fire call. A fire which originated on the brakes of a semi spread to a tire, causing it to explode. Fire Department was able to put out the fire and prevented it from spreading and causing any further damage.

9:15 am – MVA – A two vehicle accident occurred, with one vehicle hitting a parked car. The damage is estimated at $1,000, and police assisted with name exchange

11:39 am – Drugs Possess – A subject was charged with possession of drugs.

11:48 am – Insecurity – A business was left unlocked with all the lights on. It was confirmed that it was not a break and enter. Police assisted with contacting the business owner.

1:17 pm – Dispute – A dispute took place between two parties. Police along with a PACT member attended and provided options for additional resources, and the parties were separated for a cooling down period.

1:37 pm – Dispute – A dispute took place between two parties over facebook comments. This is still under investigation to speak to the other party involved.

4:00 pm – Suspicious Person – A complainant called about a person at a residence who shouldn’t be there. Police attended and confirmed that the subject was supposed to be there.

4:26 pm – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of a noisy stereo. The tenant was spoken to and warned under the noise bylaw.

4:39 pm – Theft – There was a report of a subject who stole some merchandise and left the business. Police continue to investigate.

6:05 pm – Insecurity – A garage door had been open for three days. This was not a break and enter. Police secured the garage door and the homeowner was advised.

6:17 pm – MVA – A three vehicle accident resulted in damage estimated at $4,000. There were no injuries, and one driver was charged with proceeding before safe to do so.

7:18 pm – Assist EMS – Police assisted EMS with a patient.

7:47 pm – Suspicious Vehicle – There was a report of a vehicle that appeared to be abandoned. The owner was contacted and will move the vehicle.

9:00 pm – Assist EMS – Police assisted EMS with a patient.

9:09 pm – Assist EMS – Police assisted EMS with a patient.

9:43 pm – Unwanted Guest – There was a report of an unwanted guest who wouldn’t leave when requested. Police attended and the subjects left upon request.

11:19 pm – Assistance to Sick Person – The subject was located and taken to the hospital where they were left with a friend to see a doctor.

11:56 pm – Other Bylaw – There was a report of a noisy truck running,

12:30 am – Disturbance – There was a report of a group of people on the street causing a disturbance. The group dispersed upon police arrival, and one subject was taken home.

Police responded to two 911 calls.
Police responded to five city after hours calls.
PACT responded on one occasion.
Police executed two warrants.
Police completed two curfew checks.
