Moose Jaw Police responded to 47 calls for service.


8:58 am – 0 Block Home St E – Dispute – Two people fighting. Police attended to find two individuals having an argument. Situation was mediated.
9:04 am – 1100 Block Clifton Av – Theft – Complainant’s vehicle had been entered sometime overnight. Door was scratched and items from inside were taken.
10:04 am – 1000 Block 12th Av SW – Suspicious Person – Person laying in field by parking lot, another person asked if they were alright and received a ‘grunt’.
10:23 am – 1100 Block 5th Av NE – Dispute – One person took pictures of another’s residence, complainant wanted to know if this was allowed and what options they had.
10:26 am – 1300 Block 3rd Av NE – Hit & Run – Damage to driver’s door, approximately $750 worth of damage. Police are still investigating.
11:30 am – 900 Block Stadacona St W – Suspicious Occurrence – In alley, can hear someone trying to make sure someone else doesn’t leave the residence. Police are still investigating.
11:47 am – Athabasca St W at Main St N – MVA – 3 vehicle accident, no injuries. No tows, one charge, approximately $3,000 worth of damage.
1:12 pm – 500 Block Athabasca St W – Dispute – Person having issues with another in regards to harassment and assault. Looking for options in regards to a restraining order. Spoke with police who informed on options.
1:23 pm – 200 Block North Service Rd – Dangerous Driving – Vehicle almost hit two persons in the area. Police attended but did not find any erratic driving during the patrol.
1:26 pm – 600 Block 4th Av NE – Break and Enter – Sometime over the weekend, an apartment was entered, and an item was taken. Police took item information to document.
1:26 pm – 700 Block Fairford St E – Suspicious Occurrence – Received a call in regards to a dispute between two people from a third party. Police arrived and one of the people stated there was no issue, and did not require police involvement.
3:53 pm – 1600 Block Marquis Av – Dispute – Person being threatening and combative to another. Police attended and mediated situation.
4:45 pm – 1300 Grace St – Mischief – Windshield on vehicle smashed sometime overnight. Approximately $500 worth of damage, possibly from rock hitting it and it has spread.
5:47 pm – 1000 Block Iroquois St W – Dangerous Dog – Dog came out of residence and connected with complainant. Complainant would like owners spoken too.
6:41 pm – 1000 Block Warner St – Driving Erratic – Complainant is concerned for children and people in the area as there are many vehicles who move very quickly down the street. Police attended to the area and patrolled for approximately an hour and did not witness any high speed maneuvers.
7:49 pm – 400 Block Athabasca St E – Intoxicated Person – Complainant called to state there was an approximately late teen’s person intoxicated while walking down the street. Police attended to find the suspect had leg and back injuries in which gave them issues walking, police dropped person off in care of family.
8:35 pm – 1000 Block Normandy Dr – Assault – Physical altercation between two parties over money. Dispersed prior to police arrival.
9:09 pm – Hall St W at 1st Av NW – Intoxicated Person – And older person was walking down the block, a bit wobbly, almost falling down. Police attended and found that the person had had a bit to drink, but was fine and capable of walking home, refused a ride from police.
9:25 pm – 900 Block Hochelaga St W – Suspicious Occurrence – Person came into yard, but was scared off by dog. They appeared to be scoping out the area. Police attended to the area and did a search, persons were gone from the area.
9:51 pm – 300 Block Fairford St W – Break and Enter – Person came home to find the dead bolt cut, and the handle removed from door. Police attended and spoke with complainant, issue was between the tenant and landlord, no police involvement required.
10:32 pm – 1000 Block Caribou St E – Suspicious Person – Someone skulking around, maybe stole a dog, or has a dog with them and entering a car. Police searched area and did not find anyone that matched the description given.
1:07 am – 700 Block 1st Av NE – Suspicious Person – Someone sitting on bench, wobbling around as if intoxicated. Police attended and found person a bit drunk and lost. Took person back to the place they were staying in care of family.
2:50 am – 1000 Athabasca St E – Assault – Person outside was attacked by another person. Misunderstanding between parties, no one wants to press charges.
