Moose Jaw police received 47 calls for service.
7:48 am – Police were called to the 100 block of Coteau Street W for assistance to a sick person. Police located a male and transported him to the Union Hospital and left him in their care.
11:48 am – Report of a theft from a vehicle on the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue NW. The vehicle was entered between 4am to 11am, CD’s and $10 in change was taken. The situation is still under investigation.
3:17 pm – Theft reported on the 1300 block of Princess Crescent. An iPhone was stolen, still under investigation to contact suspect, charges pending.
4:00 pm – Report of trespassing on the 900 block of Main Street N. The female was located and issued a ticket for trespassing.
4:25 pm – 2 vehicle accident reported on 9th Avenue NW and MacDonald Street. No injuries reported, damage estimated at $10,000, and 1 ticket was issued.
7:00 pm – Dispute reported on the 600 block of Hochelaga Street W. The male was located with minor injuries and taken to hospital. No charges were laid.
7:17 pm – Police were called to assist the EMS on the 1100 block of Hastings Street. Police assisted the EMS with a female patient who was taken to the hospital.
8:32 pm – Two vehicle accident reported on 4th Avenue SW and Iroquois Street W. No injuries were reported and $3,000 in damage. One person was charged with unsafe backing.
9:30 pm – A Suspicious person was reported on the 200 block of Athabasca Street E. A male was located in the area looking for a friends residence. Assistance was given in locating the residence.
9:56 pm – Noise complaint reported on the 1200 block of Caribou Street W. People were shouting and slamming doors, a male was warned under the bylaw.
11:33 pm – Provincial liquor act on 16th Avenue NW and Stadacona Street W. A female youth was charged with possessing alcohol.
12:45 am – Noise complaint on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue NW. A male was given a verbal warning for noisy stereo, and turned music off for the night.
3:38 am – Fire call on the 300 block of Duffield Street W. A garage was on fire which spread to neighbouring garages and damages were estimated at $40,000. The fire was suspicious and is still under investigation.
3:47 am – Fire call on the 300 block of Coteau Street W. Debris was set on fire and put out with fire extinguisher. The fire is suspicious and still under investigation.
