Moose Jaw Police responded to 52 calls for service

10:26 am – 9th Av NE at Thatcher Dr E – Dangerous Driving – report of a vehicle all over the road, driver talking on cell phone and ran a red light, driver charged with running a red light

 11:45 am – 0 block Flax Rd – Fraud – complainant defrauded monies over facebook cyberscam

 12:04 pm – 0 block Thatcher Dr E – Vehicle Seizure – driver suspended and impoundable, issued ticket for drive while suspended, vehicle impounded for 30 days

 12:10 pm – 0 block Fairford St W - Assistance to sick person – person located and taken to hospital and seen by staff and released

 12:23 pm – 800 block Hochelaga St E – Well being check – person located and was fine, left in care of family

 1:15 pm – 1200 block Stadacona St W – Assault – male charged with Assault and Beaching court order x 2, male detained in cells for court in the morning

 1:23 pm – 0 block Diefenbaker Dr – Assistance to sick person – male located and taken back to hospital and left in care of staff

 2:41 pm – 100 block 2nd Av NE – Assist to locate – male returned back on his own, no police action required

 2:55 pm- 200 block Home St E – Unwanted guest – someone set up tent and other property in area, owners located and will clear out the property

 3:28 pm – 1100 block 2nd Av NW – Theft under – battery taken from vehicle, possible suspects

 3:39 pm – 6th Av NW at Saskatchewan St W – Hit and run – sometime between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm today vehicle was hit, minor damage, still under investigation

 6:09 pm – 1000 block Bradley St – Fire call – 3 kids started small fire, all kids and parents spoken to and taken home

 9:01 pm – 800 block Macdonald St – Driving Erratic – report of a vehicle driving on wrong side of road and running stop signs, driver spoken to and warned

 9:20 pm – 400 block Athabasca St W – Harassment – statement to be obtained, charges pending

 12:18 am – 400 block Manitoba St E – Fire call – police assisted MJ fire department at 2 vehicle fires, $70,000 worth of damage, still under investigation

Police assisted 5 other agencies

Police executed 3 warrants
