Working as quickly as they can to inspect as many homes as possible, SaskPower continues to work on the rash of power box fires being blamed on ground shifting due to the dry conditions.

Officials say they've now inspected over 600 homes and have made repairs to about 80 power boxes.

The dry ground is shifting and pulling the wires right out of the home but the concern is only for homes with underground lines.  Owners are asked to visually inspect their power boxes, looking for tilting or gaps around their foundation.
