I'm not exactly sure why the word "Radio" is on this oven door but, it's pretty cool.

An old friend of mine who has made a living as a picker for decades gave me a call recently, saying "You've got to see this.  I'm not going to tell you what it is but I think you're going to want it."

He was right.

This is an old oven door that he believes could be from the late 1800s or early 1900s, before "radio" was a household word.  Think about it, CHAB - one of the first radio stations to go to air, started as 10-AB in 1922.

My picker friend believes "Radio" may have been the name of the model.

At any rate, I was pleased to buy it from him and will add it to my kitchen decor!
