The Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery is getting ready for another big summer, with a wide range of classes and summer programming available.

"A taste of art is actually perfect for what we have planned this summer," explained Aaron Moore, the summer arts & culture coordinator for the MJMAG.  "We're going to have tastes of different cultures from around the world.  One of the weeks is going to be Latin America, another is going to be Asia, another is going to be the Middle East, and then we're going to do the 1960's, so different tastes of different cultures within in the art world."

Other programs include two weeks of film and photography classes available for teens that will go over digital camera techniques and the history of photography.

There's also a special partnership with the Moose Jaw YMCA this year according to Moore.  "What kids will get with this program is half the day they will be making art with different type of materials," said Moore. "Each week we're going to try to use clay, pottery, painting, drawing, just a lot of different art so that they can get a feel for the different kinds of mediums that can be used to make art."

All programs run from July 2nd through August 31st, with a half day program running each week.  To register you can drop by the gallery or give them a call at 692-4471.
