The Moose Jaw Canucks won big again on Tuesday night in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League’s Midget AA Division.

The Canucks rolled to a 15-5 win over the Regina Pacers, improving their record to 6-0 on the year. They have won four of their last five games via the mercy rule in the fifth inning.

Ryan Botterill threw 3.2 shutout innings with five strikeouts, allowing just two hits, in the win for the Canucks. Garrick Ward surrendered five runs on three hits with four walks and two strikeouts in his 1.1 innings of work.

While Ward struggled a bit on the mound, he led the way with the bat in the win, going 2-for-3 with a triple, three runs scored, two RBI and three stolen bases. Botterill was also 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base.

Dawson Kurz also went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI, while Ryan Zerff scored three runs and stole two bases for the Canucks. Raine Eberl also swiped three bags in the win.

Moose Jaw finished with 14 stolen bases and four extra base hits on the night.

The Canucks are scheduled to be back on the field on Wednesday when they host the Notre Dame Argos at Ross Wells Park. First pitch is at 7 p.m.
