I predicted it would happen after the public health restrictions were lifted.  I figured we'd get big announcements about big events in Moose Jaw later this summer.

What I didn't know is that perhaps the biggest announcement would be delivered live on CHAB one day after we went mask free.

River Street Promotions, a local organization focused on delivering world-class entertainment and raising funds for worthy causes, is presenting "Homestand '21" on Saturday, August 28th.

It's a one day music festival, outdoors, at Ross Wells Park!  The stage will be set up on the infield with music fans young and old welcome to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the show.

Proceeds will be directed to the local Prairie South School Division to deliver education and resources "in the promotion of mental well-being awareness."

Oh, and on stage that day?  How about Barney Bentall, Dustin Bentall, JJ Shiplett, Nice Horse and Kacy and Clayton?

Tickets go on sale next week at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre.

I'll see ya there!
