So, you've heard the message from Premier Moe, right?  He's reminding us that "once 70% of all eligible residents age 12 and older have received their first shot of COVID-19 vaccine and at least three weeks have passed...all remaining public health orders, including limits on gathering sizes and the indoor masking order, will be lifted.  This could be as soon as July 11th."

So, are local area businesses ready to roll?

Well, yes, they are but there is some apprehension.  Results from a Chamber of Commerce survey show it.  335 business owners and managers participated.

While 49% of respondents say the July 11th target is "appropriate to lift restrictions", 24% believe it's too early.

54% say they "will continue with some protocols" and 68% say their business is "fully prepared for all restrictions to be lifted".

And, while there is apprehension there is also optimism in the local marketplace.  47% of those surveyed say they expect their business to "fully recover to pre-pandemic levels in 2021".
