Lumsden-Morse has a new Saskatchewan NDP candidate to run in the next provincial election.
Chauntel Baudu was named to vie for the MLA position. She works as a sessional instructor at the University of Regina and principal for the Prairie Valley School Division, and lives in Lumsden.
In a press release, Baudu expressed excitement about the nomination. “The people of Lumsden-Morse deserve better than a government that will vote against making life more affordable. It’s time for change – and our Sask NDP Team are ready to deliver that change.”
Blaine McLeod is the incumbent MLA for Lumsden-Morse. The next provincial election is slated for October of this year.
