Salvation Army Captain Laurie Rielly is sending out a heartfelt "thank you" to all those who have supported Moose Jaw's Christmas campaign this year.  She says support from the community is helping pack close to 200 hampers for families who need help this holiday season.

In addition to presents for the kids, hampers include the necessities for a great meal.  "Past, soups, Cheez Whiz, crackers and some treats that maybe they don't have like cookies and chips, some pop to make a punch with."  Rielly says there's also all the fixing for a Christmas dinner.  "Buns, canned vegetables, fresh vegetables as well as things to make stuffing."

Families who qualified for the Christmas hamper program can pick them up Friday.  Those who can't will have hampers delivered thanks to volunteers from 15 Wing Moose Jaw.
