The Audited Financial statements for 2019 are expected to be presented to City council on Monday night

The statements will show the city's general revenue fund had a surplus of over $184,000 last year.

The Municipal public accounts for 2019 will also be presented.

Council will take another looking at the financial situation and possibility move forward with deferred projects.

Some of the projects that will be looked at include the YMCA building demolition, Pla-Mor Palace dressing room upgrades, Sportsplex upgrades, intersection upgrades, adding to the gravel roadways budget and adding to the slumping strategy.

Council will also look at reinstating transit and para-transit fees on Sept. 1 and parking meter fees for Sept. 8.

Administration will also be recommending the city borrow $10 million to fund the High Service Pumphouse replacement project and award the contract to Westridge Construction.

The amount would complement $4 million in funding through the Municipal Economic Enhancement Program and the remainder of the funding would come from the existing waterworks reserve fund.

The city applied for funding under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program - Green Infrastructure Stream, but the application was unsuccessful.
