They're concerned.  They're disappointed with the announcement that there's no money for Canada Day fireworks in Moose Jaw this year and they're upset that Motif, our multicultural festival, has been cancelled this summer.

They are local people and they're sharing their stories on social media.  They talk about the good ol' days when we had the big parade at the band festival, the wild animal park and a night life on River Street.

One life-long Moose Javian, a local business owner, wrote an inspirational piece on Facebook...saying, "It's time for change".

He says, "It's time the people who love this city to step up for it...Don't jump on council but rather run yourself if you have better ideas."

He adds, "...we need to start growing the city, not sit idly while little by little we lose everything."

You can't disagree with that.  I think it's time for you millennials, "Generation Y", to start picking up the slack.
