A&W Main Street

Shine up the classic car and vintage motorcycle. The MS Society of Canada and A&W are teaming up again this year with the "Cruisin' for a Cause Day" coming up in August. The day will see one dollar for every Teen Burger sold across the country donated to help in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis.

Janet Nicolson with the MS Society Saskatchewan Division says the event started in our province four years ago. "They wanted to do something with their 'Cruising the Dub' events, which are car based events that A&W has done for quite a few years now. They really wanted to tie that up with us so it's really a two part thing."

Leading up to the event, Nicolson says you can donate by purchasing a cut out or throwing some change in a donation mug at A&W locations across the country, including the two here in Moose Jaw. Then on August 23rd, just head out for lunch of supper to help a great cause. "Every dollar from every Teen Burger sold at an A&W goes towards the MS Society."
