It took an extra end but Donna Ackerman defeated Patrick Ackerman 5-4 last night in the Original 16 Cash League at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre last night

She stole one in the extra end to claim the victory. Donna Ackerman is now 1-1 on the season, and Patrick Ackerman is 0-2. 

Other games last night Ralph Courtnage defeatiing Joe Gunnis 7-4, Bob Desjarlais doubling Stan Barnsley 6-3, David Gray taking an extra end to Cindy Simmons 7-6, Joel Jordison taking out Ryan Wenarchuk 8-6, Matt Froehlich getting four in the sixth end to defeat Lorraine Arguin 9-4, Murray Stroeder stealing three in the final two ends to defeat Barb Wallace 8-3 and Ben Gamble using a steal of four in the seventh end to put away Jazmin Ackerman.

Tied for first place after two weeks are Gamble, Desjarlais, Stroeder and Courtnage and David Gray, all with 2-0 records. Wade Gray, Danielle Sicinski and Joel Jordison are all 1-0 on the season.
