Mike Flegel just didn't have it this week at the 2013 CJGA National Junior Golf Championship in Waterloo, Ontario.
The Moose Jaw golfer struggled in the opening round, shooting a 12-over 83 and he didn't fare much better in the second round on Wednesday, firing an eight-over 79 to fall short of the cut line.
Flegel wasn't in too bad of shape during the first nine holes, picking a birdie on the 9th and three bogeys. The back nine is where things really went south as he went bogey-bogey-double bogey-bogey-bogey on holes 11 through 15.
The leader is Sam McNulty out of Port Perry, Ontario. He's shot a nine-under total for the first two runs and has a five-shot lead on two other golfers,
Flegel has had a busy last month. He just returned from Scotland where he was taking part in the 2013 Euro Junior Golf Cup.
